Image of stressed person More than likely if you’ve reached our site it’s because you or someone you care about has problems with stress, anxiety or depression.
If you’re the one who’s dealing with any or all of these conditions I want you to know that I’ve been where you are.
  • I know how stress can build to the point where you’re anxious most of the time—when you feel jittery and on edge and wonder where the calm person you used to be is now hiding.
  • I know what it’s like to go through your day feeling exhausted then spend a sleepless, restless night.
  • I know the terror of panic attacks—when you feel that your body is out of control with physical symptoms so strong you think your next breath will be your last.
  • I know what it feels like to live with seemingly never-ending confusion, the inability to make even simple decisions and how scary it is to think you’re going crazy.

At first I was afraid of dying. After months and months of suffering constant anxiety, I was almost more scared of living. In one sense I resigned myself to living like a hermit, being afraid to venture away from home. But in another sense, I didn’t want to live at all if it meant being locked in a prison of fear for the rest of my life. My depression brought on crying spells more than once a day every day for months, the feeling of living in a dark hole, a total loss of any positive emotions and occasional seemingly uncontrollable outbursts of anger. I know what’s it’s like when you can’t push yourself to do things that you know ought to be done and how that sets up a vicious cycle of blame, guilt and worthlessness.

I couldn’t work, could barely drive. I truly thought the life I once knew was gone forever. The independent person I was in the past was a total stranger to me.

If you can relate to any of the above, you’re in the right place. The reason I wrote Peace of Body, Peace of Mind is you! I want to help you feel better, no matter what state you’re in today. You’re difficulties may not be as severe as mine were. By reaching out for help now, you may be preventing more severe problems in the future. If you’ve been plagued by long-term panic or depression or both, Peace of Body, Peace of Mind can help you too, even if it’s been years since you’ve felt really good.
  • If someone you care about is troubled by any of these conditions, I know you feel lost. You want to help—but have no idea what to do. You’re puzzled about the changes, and dealing with worries and stressors of your own.
  • If you’ve been in treatment and found little or no relief—this book is for you.
  • If you suffer mild, moderate, chronic or more severe problems—this book is for you.
  • If you’ve ever felt stressed, depressed, shy, anxious, panicky or angry—this book is for you.
  • If agoraphobia or other fears are ruling your life—this book is for you.

For more than 18 years I’ve helped people just like you go from struggling to back to living—from feeling lonely and different to feeling calm, healthy and vibrant. Peace of Body, Peace of Mind can do the same for you.

I know what you can do to take back control of your life! I can help YOU be all that you can be!
